Two families gather above the Gulf for an evening written in gold: oud at the doors, dates and gahwa in the majlis, a promise made between prayers, and dinner served under a ceiling of lanterns.

Formal evening wear. Abayas, kanduras, gowns, and dark suits are all beautifully at home.

Arrival

Valet begins at 7:30 PM at the Al Naseem entrance. The majlis welcome starts promptly at 8:00 PM; the announcement follows the evening prayer.
