Dear friend,
Dear friend, Eleanor and Thomas are getting married, and this letter is your seat.
Eleanor sells antique typewriters. Thomas bought one he didn't need, weekly, for a year. The wedding is in the old postal hall, and this invitation was typed on machine number one.
2:00 PM, The ceremony. Vows in the sorting hall under the glass roof.
3:30 PM, Tea and telegrams. Cream tea while guests type one-line telegrams to the couple.
7:00 PM, The evening post. Dinner, dancing, and a last collection at midnight.
Ceremony at two in the sorting hall. The organ works; the acoustics are absurd. Vintage formal encouraged: tweed, silk, brooches, hats.
With every good wish,
Eleanor & Thomas
