Event websites should expire unless the host pays to preserve them.
Invite lifecycle
Event drafts are retained for 90 days by default. Host-uploaded photographs on a published edition are kept until 30 days after the event's hosting window ends; after that, the invitation falls back to the world's own sample gallery rather than breaking. The invitation stays whole, and hosts hold the original photographs on their own devices. This 30-day photo expiry is currently a stated policy, checked and enforced manually. There is no automatic deletion sweep running today.
What hosts can do today
Hosts can rename or delete a draft, and can delete a published event. Deletion removes the event and its uploaded photographs. Hosts can also export their event's data as a JSON file at any time. There is currently no separate control to revert a published event back to draft; deleting is the only way to take one down.
Requesting removal
To request deletion of your own account, a draft, or a published event, use the delete control in the creator, or write to hello@eventtale.com. Guests who want their RSVP removed should contact the host directly, or write to the same address and we will pass the request along.
